SEEMF “UKRAINE SOLIDARITY FUND”

Dear SEEMF Board members, dear colleagues,

Dr Otmar Kloiber, Secretary General of the World Medical Association (WMA), called on the Southeast European Medical Forum, an associate member of WMA, to become part of the World Medical Community’s general support against the increasing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

As a President of the Southeast European Medical Forum, I appeal to you and the members of your national members organizations to consider with donations to provide vital medical support to our Ukrainian colleagues and national medical organizations in Ukraine’s neighboring countries.

The SEEMF Board members resolved to serve the common efforts of our organization under the name of “Ukraine Solidarity Fund” and set up a designated bank account for donations, as follows:

The funds collected will be transferred to the international “Medical Fund in Support of Ukraine”, jointly established by the World Medical Association (WMA), the European Forum of the Medical Associations / EFMA / and the Standing Committee of European Physicians / CPME /.

Daily information on the funds raised and the donors in the campaign will be published on the SEEMF website www.seemfcongress.com.

I call on all SEEMF members – may all we unite our efforts and open our hearts!

The mission and cause of the Southeast European Medical Forum – SEEMF has always been and will be part of the mission and cause of medical organizations worldwide.
