Dear colleagues,

I am writing to you in order to inform you that Southeast European Medical Forum is organizing an International Medical Conference on “Medical Ethics and Moral. The Hippocratic Oath – Symbol of Medicine” which will be held in the period 13^th – 16^th June 2019 in Hotel “Kipriotis Village Resort” at Kos, Greece. Parallel to the Conference a SEEMF’s Board Meeting will take place.

It is our pleasure to invite you and your colleagues to attend the Board Meeting and the Conference with lectures and presentations in the aforementioned period.

We will be thankful if you distribute the information among the medical university students’ organizations and invite graduate and postgraduate medical students to join our SEEMF society at the island of Kos – the homeland of the “Father of Medicine”- Hippocrates of Kos. Within the agenda of the event we have planned a visit to the Asklepion, ruins of an ancient healing temple and medical school where Hippocrates once practiced. With the support of the Kos Municipality, SEEMF has managed to organize for the participants of the event a presentation of the official ritual under the Hippocrates tree, where according to legend, Hippocrates of Kos taught his pupils the art of medicine.
